2020 is going by too quick! It’s been a good year so far and I have been encouraged by what I am seeing and hearing.  Before we get too far into the year I want to update you all a bit on what we have been talking about at CTF. We opened up the year talking with the teens about the two greatest commandments. Our aim was to help them see the significance of these two commands and to better understand how and why the rest of God’s law hangs heavy on these two.    It is our strong desire that each and every teen in our ministry learn to love God with all of their heart, mind, and soul. The hearts and minds of our young ones are pulled and enticed in so many different directions and it is of the utmost importance that we teach them early on that what is most pleasing to our loving Father is a heart fully devoted to Him that leads to obedient living. November CTF Update It is difficult to believe that November is almost over, not to mention 2019! I hate seeing time fly by so quickly but I love seeing God’s transformative work played out through our teens.  He is diligently at work and so very faithful. November is a bit of a blur but so much is happening and I don’t want us to miss it or go on blinded from it all. I hope and pray that you can take part in what we are doing by reading through the monthly blogs and being faithful in prayer for CTF as we work to call the younger generation to go and live out their faith. Upcoming Events Feed My Starving Children - December 14th 9 - 11 am (You don’t want to miss this one! We do not get to have very many service projects so it is very important that your teens attend when we have one.) Winter Retreat - January 3rd-5th  (If you have not registered please do so ASAP!) Welcome parents and CTF supporters alike. I would like to introduce you to the CTF blog.  We are excited as a ministry to use this as a tool to share with you a bit more in depth about what is going on in our ministry.  You can expect monthly updates and I want to encourage you to stay tuned in to our blog along with the Garland CTF website. This is a great way to stay connected to the ministry at large and will further enable you to engage your teen in spiritual conversations about what they are learning and being challenged in.  What have we been studying? For the past couple of months we have been studying two of Pauls’s letters, Colossians and Titus. In Colossians the reigning themes are Christ is Lord over all that exists and our secured redemption through the life and death of Jesus. Titus’s reigning themes concern the importance of sound doctrine, how we watch for false doctrine that leads us astray, and our being saved for good works not by good wor...
